Kroger Shopping Trip - 11/17

Thursday, November 18, 2010

I ran to Kroger last night, 11/17, for a quick shopping trip. I grabbed some cereal, milk, cookie dough, crescents, mashed taters and lean pockets. One of the gallons of milk is already half used...lol, sorry. Oh, and I used one of the Pillsbury crescents last night...yummy! Cost = $7.74 for 12 items!!

Cookie Crisp Cereal - $2.50
Trix Cereal - $2.50
(2) Kroger Milk - $3.98
(2) Pillsbury Cookie Dough - $5.00
(3) Idahoan Mashed Potatoes - $3.00
Lean Pockets - $2.14
(2) Pillsbury Crescents - $3.00
Total = $22.12

Ecoupons Used (kroger, cellfire, shortcuts):

$0.75/1 Cookie Crisp
$0.55/1 Trix
$0.50/2 Pillsbury Crescents

Cellfire Promo:
I won $1 off any purchase recently for adding 10 ecoupons to my kroger card.
- $1.00

TOTAL = $7.74

I think $7.74 is a pretty good deal, don't you? I forgot to grab a couple things, though. Like green giant veggies are on sale for $0.88. I have a $0.60/3 ecoupon and a $0.60/3 printed coupon. That will make them $0.48 each. Oh and I checked my kroger account and found an ecoupon for $2/2 Betty Crocker boxed potatoes and I have a $1/2 manufacturer coupon which will make them FREE!

I live in the metro Detroit area, so not sure if the same deals are available in your area...hope so :)

Oh and I did not get a $1 off Idahoan coupon this time. However, the person before me at self checkout left behind her Catalina coupons and there was 2 Idahoan coupons. One for $1.50/2 and $0.75/3. Not sure what she bought for them to print out, but I grabbed them because I will surely use them!

I noticed that the cashiers at self checkout throw Catalina coupons in the trash when customers walk away. I'm always tempted to reach in there and grab some...lol.

Hope this post helps with your shopping trip. Have a great day and enjoy!!
